Lorimar Group, Inc. Signs Reseller Agreement with American Technology Corporation; Military, Public Safety and Homeland Security to Benefit from Cutting Edge LRAD Directional Sound Products

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2006--Lorimar Group, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), specializing in manufacturing and distribution of mission critical communications and technologies, announced it has signed a reseller agreement with American Technology Corporation, a leading innovator of proprietary sound reproduction technologies and products. Lorimar Group has selected American Technology Corporation (ATC) as its sole provider of directional sound products. Under the terms of the agreement, American Technology Corporation's award-winning LRAD(TM) (Long Range Acoustic Device) products family; NeoPlanar(R) products family; HSS(R) (HyperSonic(R) Sound technology), Sound Vector(TM) technology, and others will be distributed and serviced by Lorimar Group.

The LRAD is a high-intensity directional acoustic array for long range, crystal clear hailing, notification and unmistakable warning. The LRAD is used to establish intent and to change behavior with crowds, vehicles and vessels. This technology provides immediate enhancement to the force protection posture with crowds, aboard ships and ground operations. The LRAD was successfully used in November 2005 by a cruise ship near Somalia to repel pirates.
